The Writer

Writer · Director · Showrunner
Jason A. Green in Afghanistan, ODA 36

I served nine combat deployments as a Special Forces medic. I’ve carried men off the battlefield, held their hands while they died, laughed with them around burn barrels. For years, every portrayal of Special Forces on screen felt wrong — sanitized, hero-worshipped, politicized. I never saw my team. I never saw the truth.

That service shaped a storytelling voice built on real stakes, leadership, and the human cost of conflict. The work spans grounded war drama, elevated horror, and mythic sci-fi, anchored in character, moral tension, and emotional truth.
